We just got back from MRO Americas 2026, and before the week gets pulled into follow-ups, a quick note.
First—this one was fun.
Not just the show itself, but the people. Sitting down, hearing how teams are actually operating, and putting faces to conversations we’ve had over time. We walked away genuinely appreciative of how open everyone was.
Second—it was validating.
The more AI came up, the more one thing held true: without the right architecture underneath, it doesn’t deliver what people expect. That gap is real, and it came through clearly in conversation after conversation.
Third—it reminded us why we do this.
This industry doesn’t have room for “close enough.” The stakes are real, and the people carrying that responsibility every day are what make it work.
Fourth—it reinforced where the real friction still lives, and what we're doing about it.
RFQs coming in from everywhere but nowhere centralized.
Vendor quotes still being created and retyped manually.
Docusign integration to capture more than the intent.
Marketplaces like PartsBase, Inventory Locator Service, AeroXchange, and Locatory driving volume—but not flow.
These aren’t edge cases. They’re everyday realities—and exactly where better systems make the difference.
And finally—it reinforced something we’ve believed for a long time:
Shortcuts don’t create better systems. They create more steps, more workarounds, and more risk over time.
We left Orlando feeling both validated and grateful. Proud of what we’re building, but even more appreciative of the people we had the chance to meet.
Looking forward to continuing the conversations.
If we met, thank you and if any of this rings true, we'd love to pick up the conversation
